Earth Friendly - What's It All About?Earth Day began on April 22, 1970, at a time when environmentalists were a rare breed indeed. Slowly but surely, Going Green has gained more headway and more participants, shedding its mantle of the eccentric and offbeat along the way. Now, with global changes and reduction in resources becoming more evident by the month, recycling and 'being green' is no longer an eccentric exception. Going green does not have to be painful. Start by taking a handful of tiny steps we like to call Micro Steps -- small changes to your everyday life patterns. They're easy to do and they all add up over time. When you contribute in some small way, each and every day, you make a difference. Change doesn't happen overnight, but it does happen over time. Thank you for doing what you can, each and every day, to make your part of the world a greener place.
Want more Micro Steps? We've included one or two in each Eco Friendly department.
